Everyone envisions a worst-case scenario as their wedding day approaches. Nearly all of them, however, don’t wind up traveling through time to retrieve their wayward guests. That lone exception would be Jill Evans, who quickly learns that her cake baking skills are key to fixing a disastrous situation brought about by the accidental breaking of a mysterious Time Bender.
Guide Jill through more than 80 levels spread across six historical eras: the Jurassic period, ancient Egypt, medieval England, China’s pre-Communist Forbidden City, revolutionary “Let them eat cake!” France, and a fantastic future. In each time period, Jill serves cakes and drinks to a variety of customers, including dinosaurs, Egyptian gods, Robin Hood, the Emperor of China, and Napoleon. Quick service equals good tips, enabling Jill to buy better equipment and efficiently serve more patrons.

The Juggling Begins
At the start of each level, Jill’s bakery opens for business and customers begin to arrive. Hand each one a menu and wait for them to decide what kind of cake they want — use those precious seconds of downtime to address other customers’ needs. Once a customer shows you their order, start baking a cake in that shape and move it over to the frosting machine when it’s done. Then serve it to the customer and collect their tip.
As the levels progress and Jill travels forward through time, the orders become more complex. Soon she needs to juggle drink orders and make cakes that she must not only frost but also decorate. Luckily, she can buy all kinds of helpful gadgets with her tip money, including: a TV, which distracts customers and makes them forget how long they’ve been waiting; faster ovens and frosting machines; a telephone, which lets her take to-go orders; a refrigerator for storing premade cakes that she can immediately serve to customers; and more.
Each historical era that Jill completes allows her to save another wedding guest and return them to the present. By the end, she’ll need to save herself too, capping off her adventure by making the perfect wedding cake. And then all will be well — until she has to call on her baking skills to avert disaster once again.

Tips and Tricks
Cake Mania On Ipad
- The faster you serve a customer, the better your tip. Their satisfaction level is measured by hearts, the number of which decreases the longer you take to get them their food and drinks.
- The treat machine is a smart purchase: it lets you serve a customer a snack while they’re waiting for their order, making it less likely they’ll become dissatisfied.
- If you’re too busy to answer it, you can ignore the phone when it rings. The customer on the other end can’t hurt your tip revenue.
- Collect tips as fast as you can, since new customers can’t sit down until you’ve cleared the money. It’s easy to lose focus on a customer after you’ve served them their order, thinking that your work is done.
- Time management is crucial. For example, while a cake is baking, take a new customer’s order. While that customer is deciding what they want, grab a finished cake from the frosting machine and serve it. By then, the customer will have likely placed their order and the cake in the oven will probably be done, so put that fresh cake in the frosting machine and immediately start baking the next one. The customer who you just served will probably be gone by then, so grab that tip. Repeat.
- After you select a tip and press the center button, don’t touch the clickwheel for a few seconds. The next customer should arrive by then, so all you have to do is press the center button, since they’ll be automatically highlighted.
